Lionesses' draw to keep them on track 6.3.23

The Lionesses were in action again this week at home to Shiphay on Monday. Going into the game sitting on top of the league by one point, the girls were eager to get playing and the icy rain didn't deter them. It was another hugely competitive game, chances at both ends with Shiphay hitting the post and the crossbar and a couple of near misses from the hosts. A worldy save from Georgia was the difference between the teams, with the match ending goalless. Another great advert for girls football. Next Monday sees the Lionesses play their last league match of a fantastic season. After Easter, we can look forward to cup finals night.
