St Margarets Academy Vs St Marychurch Away Cup Match

On Monday 24th April, St Margarets had a cup game Vs St Marychurch.

We warmed up. We practised with our shooting and passing and then we were ready to go to the match kick-off. My thoughts were full of revenge after a 3-0 defeat against St Marychurch. St Marychurch kicked off. We pressed them quickly. We were creating many chances until it was my moment, I went 1 to 1 with the keeper and smashed the ball into the bottom corner.

The game kicked off again, but we didn’t want to finish with one goal. We wanted more. We pressed again and Noah went into the box, he got past one, then their right winger slide tackled Noah and we were given a penalty! Noah stepped up and placed it into the bottom corner and we were 2-0 up. We pressed again wanting more, Issac volleyed the ball into the box and they handballed it. We had another penalty. This time I stepped up and fired it into the bottom corner.

The game kicked off again and we had another big chance. I shot, but the keeper saved it and then dropped it and Noah was there to tap it in. We were 4-0 up! The referee then blew for half time but we wanted more.

The game kicked off again for the second half, we pressed again. Noah had a chance and he volleyed into the bottom corner. We were 5-0 up! Then we kicked off again and straight away I went 1 on 1 with the keeper, I smashed it up into the top corner. We were 6-0 up and I had a hat-trick!

We wanted more and Kyle had a big chance, he went 1 v 1 with the keeper and scored, we were now 7-0 up. They kicked off with 30 seconds left of the match and we had another chance but we hit the post and it went out for a goal kick. When they kicked the ball it was full time and we had won 7-0. We had made it into the semi-finals at Coach Road.
