On Monday, the Lionesses finished their fantastic league season with a 5-0 victory over Barton. Although dominating the early stages, it wasn't until the 7th minute that the home team found a way through with Isla opening the scoring. The second half was a super performance by the girls, scoring two quick goals to take them out of reach. Isla got her second, Amelia K deservedly got on the scoresheet twice and Ellie H rounded off the scorers. We need to wait for other schools to complete their matches before we can confirm our league position. Currently we are top!
It has been an amazing league season for the girls, they have always shown all of the school values when playing, they are a credit to the school when we play away and, most importantly, they have enjoyed it. We now await the date for our President's Cup and Plate Finals Evening some time in May.
