Computing in Year 5 (21.3.19)

Currently, the Year 5s are learning how to code and debug computing programs. Our learning has involved using the Lego WeDo programmable education sets. The young programmer builds the model (in this case a crocodile) and then creates a simple program using Javascript to control it. The children learnt how to open and close the crocodile's mouth using a simple repeating code; although, once confident, they quickly inserted sounds and learnt how the motion sensor worked!
