Family Link is a free safety app and is compatible with all Google apps and various other apps. The app is
designed for parents/guardians of children under the age of 13. Children 13 or over will be able to
manage their own google account if they choose to or continue as before and allow their account to be
managed. The app must be installed on both devices and a google account created. Users are able to
monitor their child’s online activity, manage apps including banning of unsuitable apps. The site will also
suggest teacher-recommended apps that can be installed directly on to their device. Users can set screen
time limits, lock their child’s device if they’re spending too much time online and also see the device
