St Margaret's takes a lead Nationwide 18.1.22

Jo Saunders, St Margaret's Teacher for the Deaf co-chaired the annual conference for BATOD, the national organisation for Teachers of the Deaf. Different regions of BATOD hosted webinars and on 18 January 2022 the South West hosted the event with BATOD South West Chair and Secretary (Helen Maiden and Jo Saunders) acting as moderators for the sessions.  The themes of the presentations were Educational Audiology, Bone Anchored Hearing Aids and The Use of Radio Aids for Pre-school Children. The webinar was attended by around 90 delegates nationally and the presentations were followed by a Q and A session, moderated by Helen and Jo. It was the first time the conference has been held in this way but attendance was high and there was a lot of interest in the topics.
