It was a busy week for the Lionesses, starting on Monday where the girls played Torre in a league match. Although always in control of the game, it wasn't until Isla scored her second of the match did we feel more at ease.
Thursday saw the girls travel to Cockington in the President's Cup. An early goal by Isla got us off to a quick start, followed by a brilliant, quick corner routine finished off by a beautiful curling effort from Ellie H. Ellie D got on the score sheet and with the last kick of the game, Ellie H rounded off a superb team display by scoring from the half way line! That win means the girls are through to the semi finals, as they finished top of their group. Watch this space for dates and times of the cup and plate games, as they will be held at Devon FA in Newton Abbot.
Next game is next Tuesday, at home to Cockington in the league, where the girls will be parading their new kit.
