Y2 Seagull Proof Bag 28.2.25

After reading the Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch we decided to try and make our own seagull proof lunch bags.
We researched what might deter them and found out that they don't like shiny things or owl faces! We designed our bags and chose the style we would like to use; roll top, envelope or draw string. We had to carefully cut out the templates and join the pattern pieces together. Then we decorated them to try and match our design.
As a class we created our Design Criteria: it must close, it must keep seagulls away, it must be strong and finally it must be able to fit a sandwich in it.
Once completed, we evaluated our bags against this design criteria. We used tweezers to  mimic a beak to see if the seagulls would have been able to get into them!!
