Cricket Day! 27.5.21

On Thursday 27^th May, a Devon Community Cricket coach came into school to deliver a whole day of cricket coaching in glorious sunshine.  We packed in as many classes as possible and he was particularly keen to work with years 1-3, as a way of promoting the All Stars Cricket programmes that both Torquay and Barton cricket clubs are running.  With the ultimate aim of getting the children to take up or progress cricket with these clubs.  All the children focused on their throwing, bowling and batting skills.  A huge thank you to Niall Leahy for the coaching - the children really loved it!
