Following the trip to Dunboyne Court for the winners of the DT competition, we received this lovely thank you from Phil:
Good evening Tim, I would like to start by saying ‘what a huge success todays visit of your pupils here was', with so many of the children happy in turn, to sit in front of ten adults and talk very knowledgeably from memory about their projects.
With that aspect of the visit confidently completed and thoroughly enjoyed by us adults, there was a great opportunity for ‘young and old alike’ to mix and have a thoroughly enjoyable game of ‘Beetle.’
Residents and staff here were once again extremely impressed with the confidence, enthusiasm, politeness and behaviour of St Margaret’s pupils, a huge credit to you, your staff and their parents/guardians.
All of us here have been thrilled and pleased to have benefited from the ‘richness’ (on many levels) that the children brought us earlier this afternoon, thank you.
Although sorry to see them go, I have to say that a sit down and cuppa was a very welcome refreshment for me - full credit to you and staff for your daily dedication.
How pleasing to conclude and say that a few of the children were keen to let me know that they will be taking part in the forthcoming Portrait Art project - no pressure there then?
Please pass-on thanks from Dunboyne Court once again to all the children and TA’s for a happy and memorable visit.
Kind regards,
Phil
